Spring 2022 Update

Some much has been happening at Salem. We are in the middle of doing renovations. One big project that is completed was replacing the roof of the church. With the roof fixed, we are able to focus on repairing and restoring the interior of the church building.

Seth Denney Painting took on the challenge of painting the church. They started by prepping the interior surfaces. All the pews were removed to facilitate bringing in scaffolding.

Our aim was to stay as true to the color scheme as possible. With the interior painted, the next step was to prep the exterior of the church building. Removing the flaking paint and prepping the prepping the surfaces for new primer and paint is no small feat.

There is a lot of work left to do.

2019 Christmas Open House set for December 14th

Open House… a great way to celebrate the season.

Our Christmas Open House was a beautiful afternoon of music and entertaining education with Paul Siebert, musician and speaker with Nebraska Humanities.  His program Echoes of an Era was the perfect addition to our afternoon.

Open Memorial Day Weekend

The church will be open this Memorial Day Weekend and someone plans to be at the church from 1pm to 4pm Saturday, Sunday and Monday to visit with you, help locate the graves of family members, and answer any questions you might have about the church.
